Terms & Conditions

The terms that govern your use of our website and every order you place with Keystone Tyres.

Last updated: 21 August 2026

1. About these terms

These Terms & Conditions apply to all sales made by Keystone Tyres through www.keystonetyres.co.za, by WhatsApp, by telephone or in store. By placing an order you agree to be bound by them. They are subject to the Consumer Protection Act 68 of 2008 (CPA), the Electronic Communications and Transactions Act 25 of 2002 (ECTA) and the Protection of Personal Information Act 4 of 2013 (POPIA). Nothing in these terms limits any right you have under South African law.

2. Products and descriptions

We sell branded new tyres, rims and batteries. Product images, tread patterns and visualiser renders are shown for illustration and may differ from the item supplied. Fitment data, load and speed ratings are supplied in good faith, it remains your responsibility to confirm that the size and specification suit your vehicle. Contact us before ordering if you are unsure and we will confirm fitment for you.

3. Prices and availability

  • All prices are in South African Rand and include VAT where applicable.
  • Prices, promotions and stock levels may change without notice and stock is not reserved until your order is paid or confirmed.
  • If an item is out of stock after you order, we will offer an equivalent alternative, a back-order date or a full refund.
  • We may cancel an order affected by an obvious pricing or typographical error and will refund you in full.

4. Orders and payment

An order becomes a binding sale only once we accept it and payment is received or approved. We accept card payment, EFT bank transfer and the PayFlex and PayJustNow instalment services. Payments are processed by third-party providers under their own terms, we never store your card details. Goods remain the property of Keystone Tyres until paid in full.

5. Fitment and workmanship

Where we fit tyres, rims or batteries, the work is carried out with reasonable skill and care. Wheel alignment, balancing and torque re-checks are the customer's responsibility after collection unless expressly quoted. We recommend a torque re-check within 100 km of fitment.

6. Warranties

Tyres, rims and batteries carry the manufacturer's warranty against defects in materials and workmanship. Warranties do not cover normal wear, under- or over-inflation, impact and pothole damage, kerbing, misalignment, overloading, racing or off-road misuse or fitment by a third party contrary to specification. You also enjoy the six-month statutory protection in section 56 of the CPA for goods that are defective or not fit for purpose.

7. Quotes

Written quotes are valid for 14 days unless stated otherwise and are subject to stock availability and supplier price changes.

8. Website use and accounts

You may not misuse this website, attempt to gain unauthorised access, or copy our content for commercial use without permission. You are responsible for keeping your account password confidential and for the accuracy of the details on your account.

9. Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, our liability arising from any order is limited to the value of the goods supplied. We are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, including loss of use of a vehicle. Nothing here excludes liability for death, personal injury or anything else that may not lawfully be excluded.

10. Governing law and disputes

These terms are governed by the laws of South Africa and the courts of KwaZulu-Natal have jurisdiction. Please raise any complaint with us first at keystonetyres@gmail.com or 084 542 5444. If we cannot resolve it, you may refer the matter to the National Consumer Commission or an accredited consumer ombud.
